Can Asian have bluish greenish eye?

So, my mom and my family is plain Asian as far as I know and that she told me. But she has a really light bluish greenish and kind of hazel eyes, so I never notice this in my entire life till a couple of months ago. She doesn't wear contact and it is impossible as of right now to change the eye color of a person. And I was just wondering how is this even possible?
