Sony WEGA.. quiery on picture tube?

I have a 21 inch Sony Wega flat tv since 11 years, I do want to go in for a slightly bigger LED Sony, but I am unable to decide since the CRT tv is still going strong. But of late, I have been seeing some signs of fading in the tv, i cannot describe what happens precisely, but to describe in the best way possible, whenever the screen has more white in it (during the ads with bright white background or any scene with white in majority) the bluish white suddenly becomes milky white, and then again bluish white after 3-4 seconds, sometimes longer. This happens in every other channel. Is the picture tube decaying? or is it something else? do u think i should replace it with an LED? or will this TV do the job for a few more months? People who have experienced this problem or people with technical know-how on CRT tv's please respond. Ur opinion will be valuable. Thanks

So, we thought that his eyes had air (lots of eye boogers) because when he was a kitty, his eyes would close up a lot. We let him be like that because we thought he was going to heal. He is a very healthy cat and usually his wounds heal up fast as so did his eyes do when he was a kitty. A week passed by and nothing happened. I soon saw his right eye bleeding with wet eye boogers and on top of the eye, hair removed. I think a car might of hit him because he can't see with his right eye, his natural eye is avocado green and this it was like a disease bluish and now it is more red and mixed with a little of that blue. Point is, I didn't take him to the vet or emergency because: 1. We thought he was gonna heal 2. We didn't check him well 3. It costs too much to fix pets (I once had a cat who was so kind and she wanted to share food with my dog and that dog doesn't like to share her food and bit her head and my poor kitties eye popped out of her head, it didn't fall, and we took her to the vet emergency and they charged us $1,000 just to push her eye in and sew it up) I don't want him to keep on suffering, so what should I do? Take him to be put to sleep or call animal control? Will any of them get mad at us for not taking care of him and maybe take legal action, charge us a penalty, fine, punish us? How much would they charge to put him to sleep? Will animal control charge us to pick him up? PLEASE HELP!

Why do my legs and feet turn red?

Whenever I stand for a while my feet, legs, and sometimes knees, will turn bright red or slightly purple and be really warm to the touch. They also sometimes swell or itch. If I have been sitting for a long time they might turn a bluish purple or bright red again. It was never this bad until I had hamstring/ hip surgery when I was 14. We figured it would go away after a while because we thought the surgery probably caused. It has only gotten worse over the years. Why can i see all my veins in my legs?

Stray pregnant cat still hasnt had her kittens!?

I found a stray female cat about 12 weeks ago, and we decided to keep her. Her stomach started to get bigger, so we gathered she was pregnant. 9 weeks pasted and still no babies so we took her to the vet and they said that there 99% sure that shes pregnant and is around half way through her pregnancy, another 4 weeks has pasted now and still no sign of the kittens! im so confused is she pregnant or not? she has all the symptoms, her stomach is rather large and solid, and she has very large pink nipples, she also started nesting for about 2 weeks and then stopped. What do you think has happened? is it possible that they have died inside her? shes still eating and drinking normally.

ok there is this mutt (not sure what it is) that has found itsway to my parents house. Help?! Cats and Kittens?

I rescued a cat 2 years ago. He became my sister's cat but she's going to college so he's mine again. I rescued another male stray cat also about half a year ago. I rescued 2 more male kittens 2 weeks ago. Now my friend's outdoor cat had 4 babies and her dog ate one of them so she asked if I could "rescue" her cat and it's 3 remaining babies. Her parents won't let her bring the cat inside. It's also very rainy and we are afraid the babies and mom will get sick. I can't take them because we can hardly afford the cats and one dog I have now. None of my friends can take any more cats because most of them already have at least 2 or 3 because they adopt the cats I rescue. Nobody could take the 2 white ones so I kept them. After them my mom said if I sneak the pregnant cat into the house she'll get rid of the kittens and my precious rescue cat Shadow. I don't see why she loves my sister's overweight cat so much. Anyways, how am i going to help provide shelter for the cat and kittens? Maybe I could tell my mom I need them for further veterinary studies? I could pay for all of their expenses because I sell my artwork online and do multiple various tasks for neighbors and friends. I'm painting much more artwork now too because I have to pay for my 2 kittens to be neutered and etc because my mom said if she payed for them she would de-claw them like she de-clawed my sister's cat. Why is my cat too scared to go outside unless im with her?

I adopted her when she was about 8 or 10 weeks old from an animal shelter and she is now a year old. I've been allowing her to go outside since I got her, however when she does go into the backyard its only about 10 feet from the door and no farther. Very rarely I see her sneak into the neighbors yard but she stays right by the gate and comes back when I call her. I leave my backdoor open in the mornings and she will just sit on the doorstep but won't go out unless I go with her, and even then she stays close to the door. if I close the door and she is outside she scratches the door and cries until I let her in (I never lock her out, it just happens by accident sometimes). Looking at a 1995 Eclipse GSX, Advice?

Saturday I will be looking at a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse with 134k on the body and 80k on the 6 bolt swap. Its mods are an aftermarket sway bar, act2600 clutch, garret t28 big front intercooler, the head is built boost controller turbo timer with a blowoff valve, and boost and temp gauges. The temp gauge doesn't work so IDK if thats an issue with the car or the gauge itself. Any advice or tips I should do while I'm test driving it and look for any warnings? Someone stole my cat and I can't stop crying?

I'm 13 and she is(was) so close to me and I love her dearly.. We found her as a stray 1 year ago (actually she found us- she came up to our doorstep starved and cold) and we took her in.. she's an indoor-outdoor cat and regularly went outside daily (I live in an apartment on the second story) and she always came back and was allowed to go back down again. We also checked on her every 10 minutes...and she came whenever we called her name. Today, though, there was no response from her after 30 minutes of frantically searching(NEVER happened before). I'm sure that someone stole her because she never does this and it has not happened before.. and because I've seen random strangers approach her suspiciously (which I would normally have supervised, because I'm down there more than half the time and constantly checked on her)

Issue with MAC concealer?

I went to my local MAC counter and was matched with NC25 for my under eyes. She gave me the pro-longwear concealer. I had originally wanted the studio finish, but she just couldn't be bothered. My foundation shade is 150 Buff in Revlon ColorStay foundation. NC25 is WAY darker than my foundation shade, and way to yellow, too. I have moderately dark circles (student) and very oily skin. I do have an issue with concealer creasing under my eyes. I am going to return the concealer and ask to be rematched. I need a concealer that is long-lasting, offers good coverage, and will not crease on me. Select cover up? Studio Finish? I know I probably need an NC as the pink tones will help correct my bluish circles. I have fairly neutral skin undertones. Definitely not strong yellow, and definitely not strong pink undertones.

19 and losing hair???

In the past few weeks i noticed when i take my hat off there are a few stray hairs left in it than normal and when i take a very light pinch of my hair a few strands come out each time. male cats are very territorial. If you put food out for them, they are going to fight for it, no matter if there is plenty for all. we get strays around our house alot, and we use a live animal trap to catch them. most of ours are female, so we take them and get them fixed then let them go. But for a male you can take him to a shelter or let him loose somewhere far from your house. I know alot of people say if you do that then it wont survive but cats are natural hunters and do not rely on humans to feed them. You may be able to find a live trap at walmart, not sure. good luck!

About a month ago I found a stray cat and kept her for 2 weeks. I would have adopted her but she was very aggressive towards my other 2 cats (1 male, 1 female, are de-clawed, female cat is very old and has no teeth) and scratched and bit them and hissed at them. So I wanted to keep her but my mom took her to a non-euthanizing animal shelter and she is still there. I miss her very, very much and I'm kind of depressed. Crate training adjustment?

Ok quick bio of my doggie :) Her name is Kammi we suspect she is 8 or 9 months old. I was originally fostering her, but as most people know fostering can be deadly when it comes to such a cute face! My boyfriend and I adopted her out an(please note that me and my boyfriend are first time dog owners). We have had her for erm....about a month now she is also 37 lbs. She was a stray and has not had any training. We have been crate training her mainly just for housebreaking. We are now allowing her to walk freely in and out of her crate at night. So far so good!! Now I have heard that the crate becomes the dogs den, but me and my boyfriend don't want to keep this crate forever because it is a eye sore in our apartment. I'd like to point out that the crate she is in is sorta sorta tinyish (it was a hand-me-down) :( so I would really prefer that she doesn't always sleep in the crate. I work and my boyfriend goes to school. I'm wondering if she will react poorly if we remove the crate all together and give her a bed to sleep in. I'm also wondering if we get a large wired cage if she would react poorly to it sense it wasn't her original "den". This might be a silly question to ask but I would rather ask anyways :D...

I adopted a stray cat from craigslist about 2 months ago, when we got her she seemed overweight. She has continued to gain weight and is touchy when I try to feel her belly, her nipples are somewhat more pronounced but she is also extremely long haired which makes it difficult to tell. She seems lethargic today, is not eating much and has vomited some undigested food up. I know cats average a 63 day gestational period, but I am not completely convinced she is pregnant. She also has not gone into heat since we have had her. Wish I could afford to take her to the vet, but at the moment we have legal issues which are rapidly draining our bank account.

Cat has green liquidy/soft poop, what to do?

My cat is about 8 months, he was a stray we took in & got fixed. We had no problems with him until recently. A few weeks ago he started leaving poop droplets everywhere & was leaking from his butt. I took him to the vet & got medicine (some liquid & fortiflora). The vet said it seemed he has pus in his stools & could have an infection. I gave him the medicine and kept him isolated but his poop never really got back to normal it's still been soft and kinda yellowish. Yesterday his poop was just liquid & green, so I got some anti-diarrhea medicine. I'm not sure what to do anymore. He has only been wormed once idk if that might be a problem. Crazy itching, burn, yet no rash... :/?

So, a couple of days ago, I randomly and mysteriously started itching all over my legs. It started itching and then burning really bad. It wasn't anything I ate, not that I know of. Then, after a day or so, my arms above my elbows started itching as well. Now, my left leg slightly above my ankle kind of hurts, still itches, doesn't really burn much. The burning has gone up to my arms and it just itches so bad to where, I can't sleep at night, my legs have a bluish tent to them, and my face has a yellowish tent to them. I've been drinking water. idk what's wrong. I went to Walmart and that's the only place I can think of that I might have caught something. My mum thinks it's in my blood b.c I have no rash or anything on my legs or arms, I ran a fever the night I came down with all of this. Feral kitten bite. Worried about my mom.?

About half an hour ago I let my dogs outside and they ended up cornering this stray --albeit feral-- kitten. Brother has a Finger Fracture?

My brother fractured his finger thursday and the nurse wrapped up and told him to come back on June 14th. He looked at it today and it looked more discoloured (bluish purple). Is this normal. Why didn't they do something right away instead of waiting until June 14th. Is it safe to wait that long to fix a fracture? I wanted to dye it auburn before and I really really like the color. My hair was darkish brown before and that looked nice too. I'm gonna swim a lot as soon as it gets nice out, so I need a color that will stay in and not get affected by the cholorine. I might just keep it the same but I want some suggestions. I have a round-oval face and bluish-gray eyes and a million freckles, but they don't stand out too bad because I have a little natural tan so they blend in more than a pale person's. Me and my wife were having a discussion lst night about a friend of hers. She said this girl called her all upset about her husband. Apprently when they met some years ago he was dating someone else and she knew it. She would go over to his house and hang out and after a few months that turned physical. He eventually left his girl for my wife's friend. He also told her he has a ton of female friends, some of which he's dated before and my wife's friend went along for the ride. You really don't need to do anything, unless he is really dry and has flakes of skin still left on him in a couple of days, you just leave him. If he does still have stuff stuck to him, mist him with water from a spray bottle. You'll just stress him out if you bathe him. Also make sure you have climbing branches for him, as well as being interesting for him it will help him shed his skin.

I would no use lime unless a ph test showed the soil to be highly acidic. Follow your dads advice and use some lawn fertilizer I think you will get better results. I reread you original question. Your brown spots may be from incorrect watering. Dig down in some of the brown spots and see if that area is dry. If it is, hand water the spots and check for clogged or mis aimed nozzles in that area. If those spots seem to be getting a lot of water(which I doubt) then you can consider the possibility of a lawn disease.

So, I can't really find a picture here on the Internet of what eye color my mom and uncle has. But I'll describe and please give me your best shot of what you think this eye color this is. So the pupil is like reddish brown, but than the iris is like a really light greyish with little blue turquoisey undertone. Why do my eyes change color?

Well, my eyes, since birth, have been considered blue, and they are blue, but they change colors over a short period of time sometimes, ranging from a super light blue, to a deep blue, to a bluish green. Sometimes I'll look at my eyes in the mirror and they'll appear nearly identical, but two different colors. Cat died after possibly ingesting something poisonous?

Four days ago, after being fine all morning, I noticed my cat was uncontrollably drooling, and sitting in one spot acting strangely. I tried giving her water, and cleaning the drool off, but she continued to drool constantly. I had no money to see a vet, and scoured the internet for answers as to why this was happening, and prayed that she was just going to throw up, and be okay. After about 40 minutes after noticing her drooling, She went into some sort of seizure/fit (meowing and jumping into walls accompanied by very heavy breathing, then just laid on my bathroom floor. after about ten minutes of sitting with her on the floor she died right in front of me. This is by far one of the hardest things I've ever been through, as I loved this cat very much (took her in as a stray about 8 years ago, and for some reason she only seemed to trust me out of my family, and was very skittish around others. Yet, she slept with me every night, and would practically never leave me alone. I'm assuming she had a history of abuse.) As my family didn't have much money, we weren't able to take her to the vet, but knew that she had obviously been spayed, and such. She could have possibly been up to four years old I'd say when we took her in. I took very good care of her, and she was always happy, and healthy seeming. (forgot, she looked to be an almost pure-bred Persian cat). My question is that after her dying, I noticed a spot where she had been drooling right before dying, and it looks almost as if there is glitter in it. I can't find anything with glitter, or anything like that in my home. Anyone have any ideas. I'm hoping this was a death due to some sudden illness, or freak occurrence, rather than poisoning, as I'm having so much trouble dealing with the guilt of not being able to take here to a vet.

I don't think anything is wrong with your hair. It actually looks quite nice. :) You might want to use some sort of damage repair shampoo and conditioner (try Dove Damage therapy with frizz control), some sort of smoothing gel or leave in conditioner (Biolage smoothing gel), and for frizziness try a little bit of frizz spray ( Tresemme Ultra Light frizz spray). You wouldn't really need a finishing spray, which is just a light hold hair spray. Hope this helped! :)

HELP! WILL THIS CHANGE ME?

I've only been eating fruits and vegetables (and nuts for the protein) for about a while now. I actually used to live like this strictly last year but I would stray away sometimes when I would go out with friends, but I always ate as healthy as possible. It's not so much a diet, but more a life style, since I've gotten so used to it. I actually ate an oat bagel with strawberry cream cheese yesterday and today and I feel really guilty about that...but it keeps me full. I lost 40 pounds last year, and haven't gained any weight back, but I want to lose some more. I used to run a mile a day but now I increased it to 2-3 miles, and I'm continuing to increase it. I currently weight 175-180 (it keeps changing :/) and am a 5'6 female. I guess I carry my weight really well though, but I have this pouch of chub on my lower belly area that I REALLY want to get rid of. I really really really love running, so will that do it for me if I continue doing this? Will I get an almost flat stomach if I run 3 miles everyday and eat healthy in 2 months? I hate those stupid exercise tapes...they make me feel so silly, haha.

I would recommend fostering those animals in need of a home. You foster them until they get a home (via The Human Society.) Which is a temporary home. You just give them food and water. The humane society will take care of shots, etc. It is an amazing way to help. And you should try one, then you can foster several at a time. Not just dogs, also cats, rabbits, etc.

Our dog was spayed, but she bled from her vagina a bit ago and started again, the second time this year. help?

When she first started, a stray dog of her same species started appearing around our house. It left after she stopped. Now today she has started again and the same dog showed up with a friend when we let her out, so we quickly put her back in. She has been constantly sitting by the door wanting to go out. Broken pinky toe - worried?

I'm pretty sure I broke my pinky toe and maybe the toe next to it when I hit it on the baseboards the night before last. It hurt so bad I fell to the floor and almost passed out (it was much worse than when I broke my ankle a couple of years ago) and became swollen and hurts when touched, I've been walking with crutches using my heel occasionally. I figured I didn't need to see a doctor because everything on the Internet said it wasn't neccessary. I buddy taped my toe yesterday, but now I'm worried because the area above the toes and the bottom of the toes are bluish/gray now and the foot has been so cold and maybe a little numb at times. I know this means bad circulation and I'm afraid of losing my toe. I have a doctor's appointment at 1:45 today. Any suggestions or info? My brother fractured his finger?

My brother fractured his finger thursday and the nurse wrapped up and told him to come back on June 14th. He looked at it today and it looked more discoloured (bluish purple). Is this normal. Why didn't they do something right away instead of waiting until June 14th. Is it safe to wait that long to fix a fracture? Do I need to reapply my cat's Advantage?

I just adopted a stray cat out of my yard. I took her to the vet and found out she has ear mites, roundworms, and fleas. My vet put Advantage Multi on her to treat, and gave me a tube to put on my resident cat to make she doesn't get anything from the newbie. I've never done it before, and when I put it on, I got down to the skin like you're supposed to, but some of it dripped down her fur. I wiped that off with a dry tissue, but then she licked the spot where it had run down her. Obviously, it tasted bad, and I haven't seen her lick the area anymore. Should I apply another dose, or did she get enough? (I don't know how much actually stayed on her and how much ran off.)

Should I be held responsible?

A couple months ago I had reported to my apartment that were some brownish stuff on my wall and they had repainted it white. Also, sometimes they will do that just to get your attention. By yelling "NO!", you could actually be reinforcing the very behavior you don't want. If you ignore him when he bites you and turn your back to him or leave the room, he will realize it isn't any fun and he is getting a consequence he doesn't like. Just make sure to reward any good behavior you like with kind words and scratches behind the ears, etc.

Male cat marking while standing in liter box?

My male cat about 2 years old is neutered and has been checked by a vet and cleared for any UTI. We got him a couple months ago and lately he hasn't been squatting while peeing inside his liter box causing it to go on the floor and wall. We have been thinking it is some type of marking/spraying. We do have a lot of stray cats in the neighborhood and it's impossible to prevent him from looking out the windows. We have a stress relieving collar and have been trying the Feliway (sp?) spray and he still insists on doing it. If we don't get a solution to the problem soon it'll be too much for us to handle. I was siting down looking at this stray cat that always comes in our yard and a huge hawk come out of nowhere and tried to grab it. Problems with retinal detached eye?

In first grade I got hit in the eye with a stick giving me a retinal detachment in my right eye and ever since then I had eye floaters...I am now 16 and recently have been seeing flashes aswell, for example: tiny dot flashes, bluish dot in center of vision wherever I look, and also spinning vision in a small certain area. Why am I so paranoid? Is this healthy?

I've always wanted to try walking or running early in the morning say 5 or 6. I would especially like to take my dog with me since he doesn't get out much, which is awful I know. I'm just so scared of running into a stray dog and my dog getting attacked. We've had bad experiences with other dogs while outside. My dog is also an instigator which doesn't help. So i'm planning on purchasing a taser just in case. I couldn't handle anything happening to my baby. I need some advice with a stray cat and her new born kittens. ?

My question is that I found a stray cat who had 5 new born kittens (sadly 2 were still born)about 12 days ago. My sister and I live where its very HOT and desert like and dogs roam freely so when we saw the cat get chased into our yard by these dogs she looked tired, helpless and scared we just had to take her in. How to I care for my stray kitten?

Okay a cat outside my house had 4 kittens I plan to try and bring them all inside because I live on a main road and the last set of kittens one or two of them got killed in the road :( I am trying to keep that from happen and I want to give each kitten a nice home. Nothing wrong with the idea at all in fact it would make a good story. The only thing I would suggest you look at is the names you have chosen - Bianca and Garret. I am not too sure about Eldon either but it could quite easily be a name in Victorian times. I assume you mean Isaiah for the coroner as I don't think Asaiah fits. Having said that I have been wrong many times but I do think you should research the names to make sure they fit especially in Victorian London. Also bear in mind that London in that period was a crowded stinking place to live rife with disease and crime. It is an intriguing story line and I am dying to know how the bodies are being revived, why they are on a murderous spree and how they are defeated in the end. Parakeet's foot discolored?

Hey, I've had this parakeet for 9+ years and lately I've noticed some weird things going on with it. Over the last week or so, it's had great difficulty jumping and climbing along the walls of its cage. It takes 5+ minutes for hit to reach its perch whereas before it would take a second or two. It's feet are normally pink but I've noticed one of them is discolored--a bluish grey. Its opposite leg (not foot) is also a bit grey. Is this indicative of some foot injury or is it just getting old? I'm really worried because I can't afford a vet and I'm afraid it might be in pain.

I am going to try to help you out on some of the parts of your question. As far as litter boxes and smells go, I use the robot litter box. It is a little expensive but well worth the money. I have two male cats and you do not smell anything bad after the litter box does it's thing. As far as your dog goes, there are many ways to accommodate him to the kitten. I had one as well and they are extremely willing to please their owner.When you rescue a cat from a center you usually just have to pay for the vet to give it shots and medical clearance to leave. They usually aren't expensive at all. If you do get the kitten go online for all of your supplies. You can search for the best prices available. Stay away from retail shops because you will pay top dollar. The other big decision is if the cat is going to be indoors or an outside cat.
