Problems with retinal detached eye?

In first grade I got hit in the eye with a stick giving me a retinal detachment in my right eye and ever since then I had eye floaters...I am now 16 and recently have been seeing flashes aswell, for example: tiny dot flashes, bluish dot in center of vision wherever I look, and also spinning vision in a small certain area. All of these things happen often and scare me to death. I go to an optomologist once a year and have been the same in that eye over the years. Any idea what might be going on?
